CIVIL ENGINEER

Type:  Full Time – Project Engineer/Junior Engineer

Description:
Responsible for the production of plans and specifications for civil site design (subdivisions, cluster housing and resort development) and environmental projects (Environmental Assessments, Environmental Impact Statements, Environmental Permitting (NPDES, etc.), and Sanitary Design).  Preparation of various engineering reports such as master plans, preliminary engineering studies, alignment studies and feasibility studies.  International and/or Mainland candidates are encouraged to apply and will be considered (relocation expenses are not available).

Requirements:

• B.S. in Civil Engineering or a related field required (for Project Engineer);
• AutoCAD capabilities required.
• Registered Engineer (or soon-to-be) desired.
• Minimum of two years’ experience with subdivision and commercial site planning and design (including roadway, storm sewer, drainage, sanitary sewer, site grading and water line design) desired.
• WaterCAD, HEC-RAS, StormCAD type capabilities desired.
• Excellent communication, technical and organizational skills required.

PROJECT SUPPORT PERSON

GROWING FIRM WITH EXCELLENT BENEFITS is looking for highly motivated personnel with science background and problem solving capability.  Will work under the direction of licensed civil engineers to assist in project development and support.  Work may include technical report preparation, computer modeling (HEC-RAS, SewerCAD, WaterCAD, etc.).  Excellent writing skills are a must as well as AutoCAD experience.  Minimum school experience is a Bachelor of Science degree.  School curriculum, references and previous employment history are mandatory.
